Summary of the Role: Manufacturing Engineer responsible for planning, implementing and continuous improvement manufacturing process in production line for Fabrication and Assembly process including new product introduction. Identify and implement engineering solutions for process, tool, and machinery and automation performance improvement. Develop cost-effective and reliable innovative solutions for new and existing designs and ensure the successful trial, qualification, and production start of all new tools/processes. This incumbent is directly reporting into Manufacturing Engineering Manager and this position requires interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders from different backgrounds.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes from inception through to start up until production for Fabrication or Assembly
- Provide equipment and Tooling also coordinating the installation of new machines and equipment to provide the most efficient and economical manufacturing
- Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety and quality standards
- Support manufacturing for Continuous Improvement, quality issues on the floor, new launches, engineering changes and Lessons Learned.
- Develop standard work and work instruction to meet requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering: Prefer Mechanical Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Production Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer
- Minimum 2-3 years of manufacturing process or manufacturing environment
- Good command of English communication and computer skill
Top Candidate Will Also Have:
- Strong fundamentals in manufacturing concepts
- Knowledge of the planning system, manufacturing operations, facilities, methods, and tooling required
- Knowledge of manufacturing procedures, planning processes, work standards relative to manufacturing, inspection, and a thorough background in statistical quality control data and gaging specifications
- Strong collaborative, interpersonal, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills are essential to develop a cooperative working relationship with others, both inside and outside the organization
- Able to read drawing, GD&T
- Computer program skills required: E.g., MS Office, CAD software, AutoCAD, Inventor, Teamcenter
