SUMMARY OF ROLE
Maxeon is seeking a Channel Manager to lead Europe -wide efforts to develop and grow Maxeon’s dealer channel in collaboration with the business unit Sales Directors. The position reports to the EMEA Channel Management and GTM Strategy Director.
This role would suit a self-motivated, results-oriented manager who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment, capable of driving and coordinating internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and has the ability to drive tactical execution of high-level channel strategy. The ideal candidate is someone interested in implementing an aggressive channel strategy and someone who is able to convince external and internal stakeholders of the validity of the approach.
To succeed in this role the candidate will possess a combination of big picture vision and creativity with detail-oriented execution skills and broad business awareness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Define channel management strategy and programs in the assigned markets and segments. Drive channel program execution and evolution Manage the product and service launch process to the channel including, a launch calendar, development roadmaps, product and service volume forecasts, product and service penetration strategy and metrics Manage channel strategy execution including, implementing dealer agreements, monitoring dealer performance against agreements, refining dealer recruitment processes, and building dealer growth models. Support, direct and influence channel pricing approach with Sales Directors and within committed financial plans Participate in the channel planning process including interfacing with finance as part of long-term planning, interfacing with sales operation on near term tactical issues Own the dealer network growth planning process, supported by the dealer growth model. Researching and analyzing target markets, new and existing Lead the strategic analysis, planning, and development of new channels, Business Models, new geographies, and segments in the assigned markets/segments. Manage channel competitive data including detailed analysis of region by region program data. Manage tactical channel issues including managing channel conflict, channel communication strategy, and execution Interface with a policy on channel related policy matters Propose and negotiate with companies/groups to build alliances that make the channel stronger Provide channel input for the development/improvement of products and services attractive to the channel Implement programs to drive the adoption of new products and services.
Complies at all times with the Environment, Health and Safety, and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules, and regulations
Performs other duties may be assigned

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Undergraduate degree in relevant field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably including 3 years of channel management experience with a global company managing a dealer/installer network. Understanding of independently owned dealer networks or distribution arrangements. Familiarity with manufacturer/distributor co-branding go-to-market approaches. Familiarity with energy and Residential and Commercial solar markets in Europe preferred Strong skills in financial analysis, and modeling. Energy, forward-thinking and creative attitude. Aggressive in pursuing opportunities. Ability to remain calm in the face of often chaotic market conditions and developing internal systems. Vision, sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus. Strong leadership and collaboration skills with an ability to balance and prioritize competing interests. Great communicator with the ability to create and maintain internal and external customer relationships Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills Ability to think at scale Ability to drive collaboration across functions and levels within the business, including effectively driving action from colleagues in higher-level positions. Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Customer facing presentation skills preferred
Creative problem-solving abilities under pressure essential
Ability to work autonomously to meet multiple concurrent objectives and within an international team, with diverse cultures
Fluent in Deutsch and English and preferably second European language. Other languages would be advantageous. Some domestic / international travel required (< 25%) Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Quality standards, rules and regulations
