Travel Coordinator [Malaysia]


 

Position: Travel Coordinator

Working Location: Cyberjaya / Putrajaya

Working hours: Normal working hour

Salary : RM 6,000 - RM7,000

Tenure: 1-year contract renewable / converted to permanent

Job Descriptions

  • Support travel management processes and ensure that all travel is expeditiously processed and fully compliant with corporate travel guidelines and requirements
  • Work closely with the contracted travel agent to ensure the provision of high-quality professional service and compliance with the travel policy in terms of air ticket procurement, hotel reservation, logistical, visa, insurance, and other arrangements
  • Correspond with the travelers (Personnel and meeting participants) on travel routes, and entitlements. costs and requirements
  • Process travel authorizations in line with travel entitlement for the personnel traveling on official travel
  • Process Travel Requests, Travel Claims, and Expense Reports of the Travel and Expense module (T&E) in the ERP financial management system
  • Submit a request to create or update your travel profile
  • Process Requisitions and Purchase Orders for travel in ERP financial
  • Prepare the annual DSA survey for Japan by collecting and analyzing data on the most competitive hotel prices and quality of hotel services
  • Provide information and advice on the interpretation of corporate travel guidelines and travel arrangements for the Personnel

Job Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in any field
  • Minimum 3-4 years of working experience in administration roles in travel and events at the national or international level
  • Experience with office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and handling web-based management systems
  • Good Excel spreadsheet skills, including the use of functions and formulas (i.e., vlookup or xlookup), sumifs, and pivot table), and experience in handling ERP systems
  • Excellent communication in English both written and spoken
  • Candidates must be able to start on a contract basis

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Putrajaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
