Every year, several thousands of young people on practical placements with Bosch experience daily work at first hand. With this long term internship opportunity they are actively integrated into projects and are fully incorporated in the daily work of one of the world's largest industrial corporations. The new specialist experience you gather will help you choose the future focus of your studies and the way you wish to launch your professional career. - Work together with the software development team to enhance and improve the software applications;
- Create test cases (from requirements, previously identified issues or bugs, etc.) to identify software problems;
- Analyze and document bugs and errors found during tests;
- Report the test results to the software development team;
- Analyze and test the software security;
- Provide tests and methods to ensure high data quality;
- Perform manual and automatic testing: Integration, Regression, Black-box, Customer Acceptance, User Interface, Security;
- Argue with the development team against the requirements if something still requires development rework;
- Performs routine inspections and quality tests (automated and exploratory);
- Report a bug by creating a ticket in Jira within a default template (e.g. steps to reproduce the bug, environment (test, train, and production), logs, expected result, actual result, and rate reproduction).
English speaking, German is an advantage;- Team-player, proactive, and positive attitude;
- High energy; ability to manage in a dynamic environment;
- Strong attention to details;
- Passionate about product quality and excellence;
- Familiar with continuous integration approach;
- Good understanding of REST-API functionality, implementation and adaptability;
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases;
- Previous experience with API testing tools (Postman, etc);
- Previous experience with automated test web-frameworks e.g.: Cypress, Selenium, Jenkins, JMeter or others;
- Previous experience with debugging tools (e.g. Jest, Mocha or Vue/Chrome/FF Dev Tools);
- Good scripting language skills in JavaScript, Python or others.
Great to have:
- Previous experience with IT application versioning;
- Any testing certification (e.g. ISEB/ISTQB Qualified (Foundation level upwards)).
- Previous experience in Atlassian Toolchain (e.g. Jira, Confluence);
- Previous experience with agile development process, including understanding the main concepts of Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
