Security Manager
Location: Nettetal, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
Salary: Up-to €52k + benefits
This is an opportunity to lead the delivery of Security at a site in Nettetal, Germany.
You will formulate, shape and deliver strategy to reduce loss and improve operational security performance.
This is an exciting period of development for the organisation and as such we are looking for candidates with strong leadership skills, the ability to engage senior stakeholders across the DC’s and experience managing change programmes.
What you will do:
- Review, assess and formulate security & loss prevention strategy
- Lead and develop a security team. Provide outstanding leadership and ensure teams have the requisite skills to excel.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders whilst engaging and positively influencing
- Implementation of a forward thinking and innovative security function
- Managing a security budget
- Assist with the recruitment of security officers for the site
- Plan and deliver training programmes for new hires in the security team
- Review the use of security systems and technology across the site
- Investigate any breaches of security
- Operation and management of security systems – CCTV, Access Control systems etc.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Fluent in English & German
- Prior experience of managing a security team
- Strong people management skills
- A working knowledge of site security principles
