Tasks
- As a QC Manager, you will be responsible for all lab activities and processes involving batch release and stability
- Create an inspiring, energetic and motivating work environment for the QC team
- In time release of batches within the set lead times
- Work closely with Quality Assurance, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to assure product supply commitments are met and to support continuous improvements
- Successfully comply to the industry standard (IPEC and USP-NF, Ph. Eur., JP excipient chapters)
- Responsible for QC related CAPA’s, deviations and changes
- Be a reliable and knowledgeable business partner for our customers
- Collaborate with the QC team’s in The Netherlands, Germany, India and New Zealand
- Perform and lead audits (external customers as internal)
- Continuously improve the QC processes
- Take part in project teams as Subject Matter Expert
- BSc/MSc in chemistry or similar
- Experience in managing a QC lab, product release and stability testing
- Knowledge in GMP environment or ISO 17025 and pharmaceutical quality systems, preferably excipients (IPEC guidelines)
- Experience with SAP, LIMS or similar and manage the end to end process together with other disciplines
- Hands-on mentality to be able to balance between output requirements, quality standards and customer needs

- Your team consists currently of 15 employees located in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, and 2 employees located in Nörten-Hardenberg, Germany
- Incidental travelling will be part of this role
